Full time or Part time – 0.6 FTE

Required for January 2024

Leadership Grade 1 – 6 £48,483 – £54,684 per annum FTE, £29,090 – 32,810, pro rata for 0.6

JOB OVERVIEW

We have a new and exciting opportunity for the right person to join our central education team to effectively improve, support, and strengthen all aspects of our inclusion provision. You can make a difference to students’ life chances across our Learning Partners schools. 

You will be working closely with our Trust Inclusion Lead as wells as school leadership teams, SENCos, Safeguarding and Inclusion leads. You will be ensuring robust safeguarding policies and practices are implemented and supported throughout the trust and delivering the teaching and learning improvement strategy and activities which drive improved outcomes for children and young people with SEND. You will also be developing and improving equality, diversity and inclusion for all students across Learning Partners Academy Trust.

As this is a central trust role you will be working across all of our schools and will need to have the ability to travel, use of a car will therefore be essential in this role.


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE

We are looking for someone with previous experience as a SENCo or Inclusion Lead with outstanding knowledge of SEND education with proven and successful SEND innovation. You will be able to demonstrate successful experience of leading and/or providing improvement strategies with a proven ability to raise standards. You will be committed to your own professional development and constantly seek out continuous learning opportunities. 

You will have an excellent ability to think and plan strategically and creatively along with an exceptional understanding of data. You will be able to use these skills to analyse forensically to inform improvement planning and to ensure effective improvements are implemented. 

 

You will be motivated by the opportunity to work collaboratively with a range of leaders. You will possess excellent interpersonal skills to confidently liaise across a wide range of stakeholders including external agencies, parents, carers, staff, and the wider community. Through an appropriate blend of challenge and support we invite you to share your expertise to transform learning and ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils with additional needs.
