The Role

HLTA, Alternative Learning Provision

Location - Near West Byfleet, Surrey (excellent transport links)

Contract type – 27.08 hours per week, term-time only (38.6 weeks)

Hours – 8:30am-3:05pm, Monday-Friday

Contract term – Permanent

Salary - Payscale LPT7, FTE £31,872 - £33,972 (pro rata £20,590-£21,947)

 

Do you have an interest in supporting young people? We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Higher Learning Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support our students. You will be part of an amazing team with a deep commitment to delivering excellent results and helping students achieve their potential.


 Main roles are:

·        To assist teachers in delivering high quality lessons

·        Work closely with students to aid their progress

·        Provide some cover supervision were required

·        High expectations of pupil behaviour and achievement

·        Keen to develop professional expertise and willing to learn from others

·        Preparation and delivery of learning activities for small groups and whole class

 

Fullbrook is a successful and highly popular mixed 11-18 Academy classified by Ofsted in March 2022 as “Good”. We have a centralised behaviour system allowing consistent classroom strategies with low impact processes.
