Surrey Maths School (SuMS) is a specialist 16-19 Maths School opening in Guildford in September 2024 to serve students across the South East, aiming to become a hub of excellence for the teaching of the mathematical sciences. 


We are looking to appoint a creative, knowledgeable and enthusiastic computer science teacher to join us in September 2024. In this unique environment, all students are studying maths and further maths enabling our computer science curriculum to be developed in such a way to really deepen students understanding safe in the knowledge that all students have the key maths skills to succeed.


We are a collaborative school and committed to team planning meetings in which we can discuss the approaches, concepts and resources to be used. Everyone has a voice and a chance to contribute to the development of the curriculum. We are looking for an inspirational teacher whose values align with our school and who will work with us to actively promote equity and diversity through the planning and delivery of inclusive lessons.
