Teaching Assistant
LPT Grade 3 £24,242 FTE Salary, £16,628 per annum Pro Rata
Hours: 8.30am – 3.15pm (includes a 1 hour unpaid break), Monday to Friday, term time only including 3 INSET days.

Shalford Infant & Nursery School have an exciting opportunity for a dedicated practitioner to join the team as a Teaching Assistant, supporting teaching staff with responsibility for the development and educational provision of learners. We are a friendly and nurturing small village infant and nursery school, dedicated to providing a warm and welcoming environment for our young learners. With a strong sense of community, our school values teamwork, kindness, and a commitment to helping every child thrive.
Job overview:
You’ll be responsible for assisting with the preparation and delivery of lesson provision, both on a whole-class and individual basis, preparing resources to support learning activities as well as ensuring pupils are supported pastorally. You’ll contribute to evaluating pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher to ensure all pupil’s learning needs are being met.
